Introducing CODA - Built in Brooklin, Maine,
CODA is a true all weather downeaster that provides
a safe, stable, predictable and very comfortable ride. Her fine
entry of the forward section slices through the waves without
pounding. She has a full length keel with a skeg to resist
side-to-side rocking which helps the boat track effortlessly. The cabin is bright, airy and comfortable. Down
galley, head and sleeping quarters allow for a uncluttered large
salon, helm station and U shaped dining area. There is a full
compliment of navigation equipment at the helm; all wiring has been
neatly rerouted. An adjoining side door at the helm gives immediate
access to the starboard side deck. Wide side decks leading forward
have additional custom Plasteak hand rails; SS bow rails extend aft
to mid ship. Custom Plasteak raised stern rails are included for
additional safety. The large full width cockpit is protected with
a canvass bimini.
CODA is powered by a very reliable single
John Deere 220hp diesel engine with 903 hrs.Maintenance is performed
by a professional mechanic; records are available for your inspection.
A Vetus Bow thruster with its own
battery supply helps maneuvering in tight spots. The spur cutters on
the shaft protect the prop from line entanglements.
