Oct 15 2018. Its been a year since I made the transition from yacht broker , to Owner of BVI Yacht Sales, and what a very interesting year it was for all of us who 'stuck it out' here in BVI. There has been a certain culture that has developed in the absence of most tourism and the proliferation of bargain shoppers we hosted instead over this past season, shifting gears to cater more toward rebuilding and repairing than we are used to. Many of the vessels have now been rebuilt, to taken away to rebuild elsewhere and we are seeing more and more proper sound yachts filling out docks again. We are now back up 3 yacht brokers full time at our office in Nanny Cay, as we were before Irma and Maria threw down, and we are geared up and looking forward to welcoming you back into the Islands and helping you get your boat sold.
BVI is typically synonymous with luxurious white sand beaches, crystal clear water and warm trade winds... viewed with a frozen cocktail in hand sitting in the shade of your full deck awnings on anchor somewhere in the lee of a low dip of island, waiting for the sun to set. This year, we've still had the water, wind and beaches are still here- but its been grinders, brushes and resin in hand for most boat owners lately.
The good news is that as this summer wrapped up, so has a lot of the remnant of the previous years hurricane disaster and we are seeing the 'old marina' at Nanny Cay get its docks back in place, the last of the wrecks getting barged, crushed and sent out of the territory to make room for the return of our usual crewed charter and private yacht crowd to be making their returns in about a months time.
November is traditionally the start of the listing season, where boats arrive in BVI or their owners return, and we get many of the new offerings posted up for sale, creating a peak of buying activity during the month of January. If you have been thinking of listing your boat for sale, this is a great time. If you have a boat and thinking of coming the BVI this year, this is a great season to offer your boat for sale while here- the demand is high, and buyers are ready to get something going again in BVI.
Contact us to find out how to get the best possible sale of your boat in the Caribbean, even with the recent storm effecting our territory so badly we STILL sold more boats than any independent Yacht Brokerage in the Caribbean, as we have every year and will continue for many to come.

If you have a boat to sell please contact us! We need listings as we are selling them just about as fast as we list them!:

Here is a fantastic opportunity to own a super clean and well upgraded Center Cockpit cruiser. Jersey Girl underwent  general session of upgrades up north prior to her big Caribbean adventure and then in September of 2017 she was in secure water storage in Puerto Rico when a brush with hurricane Maria left her dismasted, but otherwise unscathed.  I repeat there was no other damage to the vessel beyond the loss of her rig, which did not damage the vessel when it came down (deck stepped). Insurance paid for an entirely new rig and mainsail, and when you look at this vessel's overall outstanding condition and super equipment you will see that she is by far the best value for one of these extremely desirable cruisers.
Just take a look at the recent upgrades and improvements to this vessel:
New interior cushions and curtains 2017New aft cabin custom mattress 2018New masthead light sad deck lights 2018New Raymarine depth and wind instruments 2017New Raymarine autopilot 2017New Sun Pad aft deck cushions 2017New Sunbrella aft deck cover 2017New cockpit cushions 2017New Bimini with side enclosures 2015New headsail 2016New bottom paint 2018New transmission 2018New standing rigging 2018New mainsail 2018New stanchions and lifelines 2018

Ask to see the great video of her under sail!
