The current owner has lightly used and lovingly maintained M/Y Go-Go-Hachi for 5 years. He is a professional mariner and has maintained and restored this yacht to "almost new" condition. His improvements and upgrades now have M/Y Go-Go-Hachi as better than new!
What makes this Dutch yacht so special are her features dedicated to safety such as CE - A certification, Twaron/Kevlar reinforcement stem to stern/top to bottom, proven self-righting capabilities, and many more. Additionally her sea-keeping capability for all oceans as well as her shallow draft of 4' allowing close-in cruising for Great Loop, Bahamas, and areas where her keel-protected prop might ordinarily be a concern allows for worldwide cruising. Then there is your choice of cruising speeds and fuel economy with a 7.5-8 knot slow cruise, her fast cruise of 14 knots or her max speed of 17. Luxury amenities that allow live-aboard passagemaking or plenty of extra space for short jaunt cruising. Incredible as it sounds, this is a "one boat fits all" yacht! Yet there are over 250 Ellings cruising world-wide to prove their versatility, more than 20 currently in the US. Beautiful Dutch quality, luxurious functional layout, and outfitted for serious cruising. Finely engineered by Neptune Marine Shipbuilding with 40+ years of yacht building experience. Equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, watermaker, magnificent electrically operated sunroof with watertight seals and much more cruising amenities.

Sistership Crash: Proof of Great Construction
The bragging rights of the Elling construction were tested … and proven. The owner of another elling crashed his vessel into a concrete bridge at a speed of 14 knots. All woodwork in the forward cabin was completely crushed as was the glass fiber in the laminate – however, the Kevlar was still intact.
Although the front of the yacht was completely weakened and soft, water did not penetrate the Kevlar layer. The vessel returned to the yard on its own bottom where repairs were completed in time to display the yacht at an upcoming boat show. Now that’s a testimonial!
