Cygnus is being offered for sale by her original owners who have lovingly maintained her. The NP39 is a proven cruiser, designed to be comfortable and easy to handle for a couple with occasional guests.
The NP39 has a spacious, full beam salon. There is an open ceiling from the salon to the pilothouse which gives the space light from windows 360 degrees and excellent visibility. The L settee is comfortable for 4 for dinner and converts into a double bed. The full cockpit enclosure on Cygnus add a substantial amount of living space to the salon.
The galley on the NP39 rivals that on boats that are 60' long. There is a huge amount of counter space, lots of drawers and cabinetry. A three burner cooktop with oven is great for cooking and double sinks make cleanup easy. The 9 cu.ft Novakool is the largest marine unit available. Under the floor is additional storage.
With a comfortable helm seat and a long bench seat, the pilothouse offers the captain and crew comfort and nearly unobstructed visibility in all directions. Doors on both sides provide ventilation and access while maneuvering. The settee converts into a single bed.
The head is comfortable with a large separate shower stall.
The master stateroom has an island bed, two hanging lockers and four drawers.
All NPs come standard with a flybridge and Cygnus is no exception. The flybridge is spacious and great for cruising and entertaining.
Cygnus has a Cummins 230 5.9L QSB with about 2700 hours. All maintenance is up to date on the engine. The Cummins 230 has proven to be a reliable engine and provides comfortable cruise speeds of 7-9 knots. Top speed is about 10 knots. At 7 knots the NP39 burns 2-2.5 GPH.
