The V258 showcases a sweeping shear line beginning at the bow, ending at the stern. While the captain enjoys tilt steering and a dual helm seat with flip-up bolsters, passengers will enjoy the best view in the house on the fixed transom seating; or create a sundeck with the optional Mediterranean seating which includes a feature allowing the seat to lock in a half-way position for versatile aft-facing seating. The cockpit has been restyled to maximize smart space usage, complete with refreshment center with solid-surface countertops, sink with pressurized water, and a removable 36-quart cooler. A removable cockpit table is the perfect solution for cocktail hour and even the beverage holders are a sleek stainless steel. Of course, seats feature Aquaflex vinyl, tops in marine-grade upholstery, and the cockpit includes snap-in carpet over a fiberglass liner, and the rub rail features a unique and durable design of rigid white vinyl with a stainless steel insert. There is an optional Maxwell 500 Series windlass. Polished bezels highlight a comprehensive series of Faria gauges, tachometer with hour meter and a compass to guide the way. The lenses in these gauges are specially coated to resist fogging and condensation. The tilt steering wheel radiates a high-performance look and feel. And, for utmost safety precautions, a gas vapor detector is now standard. To protect the dash when not in use, Four Winns now provides a canvas helm cover.

Leading to the cabin is an acrylic door with screen to provide both privacy and ventilation. Below is a generous U-shaped dining area that converts to a large bed with a hatch above and storage nestled underneath. Both inviting and practical, the cabin is outfitted with vinyl seat cushions and back rests, and accented with fabric sidewalls. Catch the morning news with an optional flatscreen television and DVD player. A full galley showcases a sink with ample granite-look counter surface. The V258?s home-like conveniences include a refrigerator, microwave, trash receptacle, and electric flush-mount stove situated in an attractive and efficient woodgrain cabinet system. For those who plan to travel far and wide, air conditioning/heating is an option, as well as a generator. A gas vapor detector is standard for safety, and a fire extinguishing system is an option. Behind a mirrored, locking door is the V258?s fully-functional head. A sink and vanity, along with a medicine storage area, towel rack and overhead lighting make the space efficient and home-like. The porcelain head and shower area is well-ventilated by the screened portlite and power ventilation fan. A hot water system makes freshening up pleasant and comfortable both in the head and at the aft shower.
