The Hanse 342 twin aft cabin layout offers six berths in three double cabins (each 6'6" long) with a further single berth in the saloon, and excellent headroom (up to 6'4"). Finished in the preferred lighter interior option, which feels more modern and spacious than the standard darker finish, with teak and holly effect soleboards, blue upholstery and cream curtains throughout.
FORECABIN - Fitted with a generous double V berth, hatch to foredeck and large lockers to port and starboard.
SALOON - Consisting of an L-shaped settee and dining table to starboard with twin seats either side of the chart table opposite to port. Good storage is provided in various lockers and the table has a built-in bottle rack.
GALLEY - Aft to starboard and equipped with a gimballed stainless steel two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, twin stainless steel sinks with cover, large fridge, Corian work surfaces, and ample storage in various lockers and drawers.
HEADS - Separate compartment aft to port with a Jabsco marine toilet, washbasin, shower, and good storage.
AFT CABINS - Twin aft cabins located to port and starboard, both fitted with a double berth, hanging locker, portlights, and with standing room to get dressed before exiting the cabin.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - Hot and cold pressurised water system throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Holding tank with deck outlet and overboard discharge. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating system.
Located under companionway steps, Yanmar 3YM20C three-cylinder 21hp diesel engine. Fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls at cockpit pedestal with electric start. Stainless steel 80L fuel tank. Saildrive (new diaphragm 2012) to fixed 2-bladed propeller.
The engine was serviced by her owner in late June 2020, and has run for approximately 1050hrs since new, equating to around 90hrs a season.

Hanse 342 built by Hanse in 2007 to a Judel & Vrolijk design, first commissioned 2008. Red GRP hull with white superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder with emergency tiller system. Self-draining aft cockpit with teak laid cockpit seats. Midship spring cleats.
Gedi appears to have been well maintained and carefully enjoyed, with a recent survey available upon request.
