ACCOMMODATIONS and MAIN SALON
Entrance to the Main Salon is either through the large glass paneled door in the cockpit, or through the convenient door at the lower steering station. A large ultra leather L-shaped settee to port may convert to a comfortable double bed. The movable teak hi-lo table is perfect for dining or cocktails. Custom navy Ultraleather barrel chairs are to starboard with a cabinet in between. The flat screen TV folds down from the headliner above on an electric actuator. The comfortable navy Ultraleather Stidd helm seat provides easy access to the engine controls and electronics and can be turned to join seated guests.
Forward and down several steps, through the custom Herreshoff-style companionway, is a well-designed Guest or Day Head, to port, with a large, separate shower stall. The vanity features white Corian countertop, sink, mirror, storage and an electric Vacuflush head.
The Guest Stateroom, to starboard, is roomy, with twin berths fore and aft (long enough for adults) and reading lights are over each berth. This stateroom includes a cedar-lined, louvered hanging locker and additional drawer storage space. There is a pocket door for privacy.
The Master Stateroom features a centerline Queen berth with innerspring mattress. This berth easily lifts with the aid of gas-filled cylinders. Extra storage is underneath. There are also reading lights, a flat screen TV, a cedar lined hanging locker, mirror, and numerous drawers and a bureau. Screens and shades are on opening ports and hatches.
The ensuite Master Head is located to starboard and features a separate curved glass shower stall, with teak seat and varnished teak trim, a varnished teak vanity with Corian counter, sink, mirror, storage and a Vacuflush head.

MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING
Engine room access is exceptionally easy. A set of hydraulic lifting stairs is integrated into the cockpit sole and companionway steps. With a touch of a button, the companionway steps lift up revealing the entrance to the machinery space. Stairs with teak treads lead into the well lit and well ventilated engine room.
Aluminum diamond plate floor panels between the main Cummins engines provide excellent traction and cover the bilge sump. Fluid checks of the main engines and marine gears are simplified by smart placement of dip stick tubes - easily accessed from the engine alleyway. Sea water intake seacocks for the main engines are well placed and the sea strainers allowing easy pre-start engine checks.
A reverse oil change system is plumbed into the main engines and generator allowing precise top-ups and tidy changes. Notable, also, is the fresh water wash down in the engine room. Combustion air is drawn through specially designed air ducts integrated into the hull.
Air ducts remove spray while providing an ample supply of clean, dry combustion air. The 13.5 kW Onan Q-ED generator is located down the steps, immediately to port, and is large enough to provide Sanctuary with ample electrical power to run all of the onboard systems, including the Air conditioning while at anchor.
The engine room is extremely well insulated, keeping sound level underway to a minimum. Controls for the generator start-up are located on the unit, as well as at the main steering station. Engine room access is also through a gasketed and insulated hatch in the main salon sole.
The 6 cylinder turbocharged and after-cooled Cummins QSM11-670 HO displaces 10.8 liters and produces 661 bhp @2,300 rpm. Maximum torque is generated around 1,625 rpm and the boat cruises efficiently at this speed.
Glendinning throttle synchronizers allow easy engine cruising speeds, making 1 rpm throttle changes with the touch of a button. Another notable feature is the low idle (trolling) setting, giving precise maneuvering in tight quarters. Back up throttle controls are located at the lower helm and provide a level of security and redundancy that is typical aboard a Grand Banks.

The central hatch provides more storage, as well as access to the main fuel tank. Tank fittings and access are top quality - obvious that the serviceability of systems was important to the design and build. The cockpit is large enough for entertaining guests or for lounging in the sun.
A custom Palm Beach Bimini extends aft from the flybridge brow and provides excellent shade and rain protection. A wet bar is located under the curved fly bridge stairs, with a storage locker underneath. The white Corian counter top is rugged and easy to clean. A propane locker is located to starboard of the companionway entrance, containing two large aluminum tanks - providing ample cooking fuel for an entire cruising season.
