This is one of the few 35th Anniversary Edition Catalina 34 Mk II's produced. This special model came with Ultra leather upholstery and a custom bimini/dodger made for sailing in all conditions.
This is a Florida made and owned model and this is currently only the second owner. It still has a great exterior appearance with the two-tone deck and non-skid gelcoat. And the interior shows almost like new.
She features in-mast furling mainsail, furling head sail, full electronics including radar, interior A/C, great ground tackle with electric windlass, comfortable cockpit with deluxe cushions and the special edition add-on's.
She is ready to go and should definitely be on your short list.

The Catalina 34 Mark II reflects the experience of Catalina owners, who proved the practicality of the masthead rig with fore and aft lowers, forestay and backstay. The inboard shroud base leaves more room for secure footing on the non-skid deck and provides for narrow sheeting angles and the ability to carry large genoas. The rigid boom vang and double ended mainsheet system make sail handling easier and more secure. The wider aft cabin has an even larger berth, upholstered seat and bureau.
First impression when coming down the companionway is a bright open salon. The beige Ultraleather cushions give a feeling of luxury that you don't expect. The salon has the dinette to starboard that seats four comfortable and converts into another sleeping berth. To port is the nav station and electrical panel for the ship systems and a nice settee area.
To the starboard is the L-shaped galley and to port is the head. Aft past the galley is the large athwart full size berth that goes almost the beam of the boat. Forward through the salon is a nice guest berth in the Vee.
Closets and cabinets are located around to keep your stuff secure but close at hand.
The salon and forward have air conditioning vents and the aft cabin has a 12V fan to direct the cool air there.
Entertainment is provided with a Vizio 21" LCD TV and Samsung Blueray player.
The galley is simple but functional featuring a double stainless sink with hot/cold water. A 2 burner Hillerange propane stove and oven are tucked in the corner next to a large counter top opening 12V refrigerator/freezer. An added toaster/oven compliments the other items. A very usable overhead shelf is there for added storage.
Engine access is located under the removable companionway stairs with other access through opening in the aft cabin and under the berth.
The engine is a durable Universal 3 cylinder diesel rated at 35hp. The engine hours only show 476 but the tach and hour meter were changed in 2014 and had 850 on the original meter (per a previous report).
The electrical system is powered by a single 30A 110V shore power while at the dock and 12V batteries while underway. Charging the batteries is via the battery charger or the engine alternator. A Mastervolt inverter was added to provide 110V service.
A Xantrex Link 2000 is located at the nav station to monitor the battery status.
To get around safely, Sea Dog has a suite of Raymarine electronics at the helm including a ST-60 Tridata display (for depth/speed/log), a ST-60+ AWI display and a ST-4000 autopilot. The GPS/Chartplotter is a Raymarine C80 color display with a Raymarine radar.
The autopilot is wheel mounted and engaged via a servo clutch.
At the nav station is a Icom IC-M402 VHF.
A new JVC stereo/CD with Bluetooth, Sirius and XM capabilities is also at the nav station.
The rig has a Z-Spar designed for in-mast furling mainsail and furling head sail. The hardware is all Garhauer blocks and traveler. The genoa is rated at 100% with sheets coming aft to Lewmar 48 ST 2-speed winches on the coamings. Mainsail sheets are led to the coach roof to Lewmar 30 ST 2-speed winches. Other halyards and lines are led aft to 8 Garhauer line stoppers and stored in 4 line bags on the cockpit bulkhead.
The first impression when coming to the boat is that it is almost new and not 14 years old. The deck and hull gelcoat shine and the two tone non-skid is near perfect.
The cockpit is large and has very comfy custom cushions including for the great stern seats and helm seat. Canvas covers all the pedestal and winches. A great bimini/dodger provide shade and protection from the rain. And added canvas covers all the vinyl window when at the dock.
The ground tackle consists of a stainless Kefa 30 pound CQR-style primary anchor on a chain/rope rode with an aluminum Fortress FX-16 16 pound Danforth-style secondary anchor both stored in the oversized anchor locker. A small one direction Maxwell windlass provides power to recover the anchor when weighing.
A salt water wash down faucet is located in the anchor locker as well.
The transom has a huge swim ladder that folds up against the transom when not in use. And a hot/cold deck shower provides a quick rinse off when coming up from the water.
Even though shown in the photos, outboard motor is excluded from this sale.
