2005 Leeway 6.3m RIB powered by a 115 Evinrude outboard.
These boats have great deep-v hulls giving a great ride, and loads of performance with a 115 outboard.
In January (2018) an engineer visited the RIB (here in our boat display) and ran an engine report for the vendor. We now have a copy of this in the office and it will be provided with the boat. The engine hours read 899 with no active faults found.
This RIB was used as a support & rescue boat for many years for the P1 Powerboat racing series and 48.8% of the engine hours are at tick-over. 5000 – 8000 (max recorded) is less than 1.5 % so the engine has been carefully used. The high hours are because it has spent most of its’ time floating about the Solent watching the racing and practicing. As part of the P1 racing support this RIB has been looked after professionally by two local engineers. We are informed by the vendor that in the last few years the engine has been stripped, a new injector was fitted as well as a reconditioned trim pump and rams. Anything needing doing was attended to straightaway.
She's on a nice trailer and is covered with a lovely heavy duty cover.
Pilot navigator seats for 2 with a bench seat for 2 at the back.
This boat is in our display and it can be viewed 7 days a week.
