‘Ragamuffin 52’ is a 2005 TP52 designed by Bruce Farr and built by Goetz Boats and now exclusively For Sale with YOTI Race.
Launched under the name ‘Pegasus’ this TP 52 was first raced in the 2005 Transpac and is a very well prepared and competitive IRC/ORCi Offshore yacht race. Modified in Australia for the Sydney Hobart race, she had additional bulkheads and stringers added with additional waterproofing also commissioned.
With two different rig configurations available and three keel options in the inventory, ‘Ragamuffin 52’ is a very competitive, scalable, and affordable safe offshore race yacht.

Ragamuffin is being sold with two complete sets of rigging:
RIG 1 (southern spar) 3 spreader rig. Heavy air rig, is lighter and stronger (3 spreader), has its own set of halyards, external Titanium jib lock, two internal spinnaker locks and a main halyard lock. Has a carbon bolt rope track for main and a Harken tuff luff. Has only been used for a few races in 2005-2006. Boom with two reef lines. The mast has full rod rigging.
RIG 2 (Hall spar) Two spreader rig - The hall spar rig is a heaver strongly build rig. It is competitive under IRC, being a two spreader, has a two reef boom ( 3rd reef external) full set of halyards and rod rigging, Harken tuff luff, jib lock and two spinnaker locks. Has an inner forestay and Ronstan car system for the main.
Mast has hydraulic mast jacks.
2 x Pedestals for the main winch, and 2 x primary winches, (these are all interconnected), which is a huge benefit for hoisting and gybing. The are 2 x winches for the coach house control lines and 2 x further secondary winches. The Backstay, Forestay and Outhaul are all on a manual hydraulic pump. 9 x Spinlock jammers on cabintop. 2 x Carbon reaching struts.
Hull & Deck: Carbon
Ground Tackle: 2 x Anchor and warp.
Covers: Boom cover, Boom tent.
Other: A 40ft container which has been fully fitted out as a workshop. Includes power tools and large workbench, as well as sufficient storage. The entire program can be run out of it. Yacht cradle. Dehumidifier.
