Manufacturer Provided Description
The Chaparral Signature 300 is seaworthy enough for offshore destinations yet agile enough for rivers and lakes. Buyers can choose from a wide assortment of twin V-6 or V-8 sterndrive options. Underneath, the 300's Extended V-plane running surface is quick to plane, rock solid in shifting water, and agile enough to fit in on action-packed waterways. Built-in recessed trim tabs smooth out on the water. Standard equipment extras include a transom shower, extended activity platform, two-tone vinyls, dual ice chests, and a complete stainless steel hardware ensemble. In the cockpit, Chaparral has added molded steps for amidships boarding and also features integrated steps on the dash for deck access to the forward deck. Upfront, a custom molded hatch covers the anchor locker and recessed roller, which ensures sure footing. For 2003, the sleek forward-facing radar arch and coordinated canvas package are functional and eye-catching. With 6 feet 7 inches of standup cabin headroom, the 300 sleeps 6, has a 30-gallon water capacity, and an aft cabin that is comfortable even for adults. With four portlights and three oversized square deck hatches that feature retractable shades and screen, the 300's cabin has an airy, wide open feel. Loaded with standard equipment, the 300 can be equipped with optional air conditionaing, a generator and a windlass. On the dash there's space for an array of factory-installed Ray Marine navigation and communication devices.
