SOVA 7 is an exceptionally well equipped Hallberg-Rassy 46, testimony to the experience of her owners who have been both very experienced sailors and Hallberg-Rassy owners. Always professionally maintained and regularly upgraded, she has stood the test of time admirably. Recently she has had her teak decks refurbished, her whole hydraulic system overhauled by Selden and her bottom re-epoxied. She has a satin varnished Teak interior below, light coloured head linings with teak accent. Deluxe blue upholstery and beige curtains throughout the accommodation. Both lighting and ventilation in the interior are second to none, and two blown air Webasto blown air heaters provide adequate, practical and economic heating through out the yacht. Sova 7 is also fitted with Clima reverse cycle air-conditioning providing cooling and heating. NEW carpets have been installed throughout the interior.
The aft owner's cabin has a queen size centreline berth with stowage above and below. Three opening ports and opening deck hatch cabin lights and reading lights at the head of the berth. Heads and shower compartment, separate shower stall with thermostatic shower valve, Corian® work surface with wash hand basin stowage above and below mirror and opening port. Electric Jabsco heads with holding tank.
Walkthrough to main saloon to port with two large hanging lockers, Bosun’s locker and top loading freezer (dual thermostat for use as fridge or freezer) aft of chart table seat. Access to large engine compartment on inboard side with soundproofed and lockable double doors.
To port of the companion way is the forward facing navigation station with seagoing seat and lifting top for chart stowage. There are teak shelfs, drawers and storage all around and all the instruments are flush mounted.
A „U“ shaped galley is starboard of the companionway. Two sinks, hot and cold water plus manual fresh water. Stainless steel cooker with hob and glass door to oven. Top loading fridge and Microwave oven. Lots of ready to use stowage around the cooker plus stowage for crockery, drawers for cutlery and cooking utensils, lockers for pots and pans plus under the sink locker for rubbish bin and cleaning stuff.
In the salon the “L” shaped settee berth is to port an two comfortable arm chairs are to starboard. Substantial fixed saloon table with directors chairs for extra seats provide comfortable seating for 6-8 crew. Stowage above below and behind saloon seating. Four opening ports one large opening deck hatch and fixed ventilation from two dorade Vents and louvers in the main washboards.
FORWARD HEADS (and Laundry) to port from walkthrough spacious heads compartment with separate shower stall giving access to washing machine. Corian® work tops with wash hand basin, stowage above and below, electric Jabsco heads with holding tank, mirror, opening port and opening deck hatch.
FORWARD CABIN with traditional “V” Berth giving twin berths with infill to make a double, extensive stowage beneath berths suitable for sails, Awnings, covers, folding bicycles and a lot more. Easy access to fore deck through large opening deck hatch. Adequate stowage for crew gear in lockers and hanging locker.

Shorthanded sailing is easy in this modern cruiser. It is both high-pointing and fast, but also seakindly. It is a boat made to go around the world or cruise local waters. There is space for all the modern comfort aids. Hull and deck are GRP, built under supervision of Lloyd's Register of Shipping. A Lloyd's certificate is supplied with each boat. The hull is insulated above the water line. Deck is GRP sandwich construction, 35mm for strength and insulation. The lead keel is attached with stainless steel bolts. The mast is stepped on a base on the cabintop directly over a reinforced bulk head. Cockpit protected by permanent windscreens in tempered glass in light alloy frames. The middle pane opens. Sprayhood in synthetic material with aluminum frames. Hardtop is available as an option. Handrails, companionway, hatch guides, sole and seats in cockpit are all in solid Bangkok teak. The cabin is done in selected mahogany, hand-rubbed and treated to a silk smooth finish. The seagoing galley so arranged that one can work safely even in heavy seas, and has deep, double sinks and a well-insulated icebox.
