2001 Hinckley Talaria 44

A rare treat to find on the Great Lakes! The Hinckley Talaria is widely hailed as one of the highest quality boats ever built.  Is there anything better than a Hinckley?  The Hinckley Company is a builder of sailboats and luxury motor yachts that started all the way back to 1928. Rooted in Maine’s maritime heritage, Hinckley’s core values are innovation, service, and performance. In the late 1980’s, Hinckley made a drastic shift from sail to power, launching the Talaria 39, an iconic Downeast-style motorboat. On the mission for a lighter vessel with a smooth ride, Hinckley was the first American yacht builder to convert from fiberglass to Kevlar in 1991.

Top of the line and you can see it in every detail.  Truly one of the nicest designs and the highest construction quality you will ever set foot on.

Perhaps the most eloquent expression of the Hinckley power yacht, the Talaria 44 Jet is a stately presence in waters from Monaco to Maine. Her lines, drawn by Bruce King, are a study in the vernacular of Down East nautical design. Yet beneath her old-world elegance lies the newest, most advanced boat-building technologies.

JOYSTICK JETDRIVE - Hinckley was years ahead of the competition by introducing its Jet Drive system paired with YANMAR DIESEL ENGINES for a smooth ride and easy docking.  This revolution in large boats was a game changer allowing the boat to stop in two lengths of its own hull.  Extremely maneuverable full of innovation.  The Talaria is as beautifully styled and meticulously finished as she is well built.

This two owner Hinckley has spent the majority of its life as a local Freshwater boat with the exception of one trip south.  We can't quite call her a Freshwater only boat but she's as close as you will get with any Hinckley.
