"Kumpfi" is a very special Etap 39s. She was commissioned by an owner who intended to sail her around the world and with that in mind the boat remained ashore until 2005 whilst many upgrades were being fitted such as the larger D2-55 diesel, electric winches, watermaker, integrated washing machine, solar panels, ST6001 wheelpilot and much more. Sadly the owner never made the trip and the boat was sailed in the Mediterranean, based in Prevesa. Her present owner purchased her in February 2018 and a professional survey report from that time is available. Her spent 2018 sailing her to Gibraltar where she is now based and available for viewing. Her owner is now downsizing.
The Etap 39s is a superb fast cruising yacht by a high quality yard, the double skin GRP hull is unsinkable and the boat is easy to sail short handed. The special non-slip cork deck is an excellent feature, fitted by the builder when new.
