Orkney Orkadian 20 Fisher / Cruiser
This Orkney Orkadian 20 is a good example of this Nelson style motorboat that is a very sturdy and rugged semi displacement boat that has so much to offer to a fisherman or family. Fitted with a Mariner 75 Optimax four stroke outboard that has had very little use (150 hrs) and was serviced in 2019 , she has a semi enclosed wheelhouse giving access to a good size open deck area that is perfect for fishing or just relaxing. With a full canopy that encloses the whole aft deck this “little ship” has masses of usable space and accommodation regardless of the weather. In addition, forward of the wheelhouse, she has a very comfortable seating area with table that makes two comfortable berths, galley with two burner gas hob & sink as well as a separate Heads with sea toilet. She is well equipped with Raymarine Plotter, Dragonfly 7 Fishfinder / plotter & even forward looking sonar, as well as a VHF and Trim Tabs. This particular boat even comes with its own Snipe twin axel trailer as part of the package and is small enough to tow to your destination of choice. She is lying Southampton.

The Orkney Orkadian 20 is a 'proper' semidisplacement offshore cruising boat, blending first class seakeeping with comfortable and practical accommodation. Designed by the Nelson launch originators, TT Boat Designs & Arthur Mursell, the Orkadian 20 has a smart interior, with separate toilet and a galley, making it ideal for coastal cruising. Big and beamy enough to ensure serious offshore ability, this cruiser can still be trailed to more distant cruising grounds.
Whether you are an experienced fisherman looking to fish a little further offshore, or a novice who wants to build confidence with a very safe, sturdy and exceptionally well equipped vessel, then this Orkney Orkadian 20 offers you everything you could wish for and probably a lot more. With her comfortable cabin with galley & heads and her good sized aft deck, she is a very flexible, capable boat. She has clearly been very well maintained including having a new engine fitted in 2013 & a great electronics package included. With the semi enclosed wheelhouse & additional cockpit canopy it means she can be used all year round, whatever the weather. Due to her size, she is easily managed single handily, but with the space she offers, trips with friends and family are equally as pleasurable. In addition, this package includes a twin axel braked roller coaster trailer meaning she can be towed to wherever you wish to do your boating or bought home for the winter. This boat is a safe, fun, solid and well built boat that is sure to make her new Owners happy.
Orkney are known the world over for building solid, safe fishing boats & the Orkadian was their range of “Luxury Fishers”. This Orkney Orkadian 20 offers amazing value for money and is one not to be missed. She is currently lying in Southampton, is available for viewings through Aspire Boat Sales.
