The 42' Wilbur Norther Star is a unique one off design, by a very well known East Coast boat builder. This vessel is built onto the solid and proven GRP hull that Wilbur has use on its other designs. With "Blueberry Gull" the emphasis was on a long range cruiser with a spacious, quality interior. This vessel is powered by a single 500hp Caterpillar diesel which can cruise efficiently at 8-9 knots or quickly at 15 knots. The design has incorporated a decent pilothouse and quality flybridge all while keeping the overall height down, therefore reducing the centre of gravity which improves comfort at sea.
This is a year round sea worthy cruiser and a very unique offering for the Pacific North West. If you are in the market for quality vessel in the Down East style, then do not miss this opportunity.

Additional Equipment & Information
With the single 500hp diesel, this vessel will cruise efficiently at 8 knots using about 2.5 gph, providing an estimated total range of 1400nm. The fast cruise is an easy 15 knots with top speed approximately at 17-18 Knots. The propeller is protected by the keel while the five blade propeller reduces harmonics and provides smooth propulsion.
General: All interior areas of the vessel are beautifully finished in custom White Ash millwork, contrasting with clean white surfaces and a traditional teak & holly sole. The interior is surrounded with the Diamond Sea Glaze windows or Stainless Steel Hood Opening Ports.
Pilothouse - The pilothouse can be accessed directly from the Port and Starboard sliding doors. There are short stairways to the flybridge, master stateroom and and aft sections of the boat from the pilothouse. In the pilothouse there is a raised bench seat with storage. The main electrical panel, engine instruments & controls and navigation systems are located here.
Master Stateroom - The master stateroom is located in the forepeak of the vessel which is four steps down from the pilothouse. There is an island queen berth with storage, a small writing desk, additional storage and ensuite head with separate shower enclosure.
Aft Salon - The main salon may be accessed from the cockpit door or down a few steps from the pilothouse. This area is wide and open, it includes two opposing bench seats that convert into double berths. There is additional stowage, a folding dining table and an enclosed head with shower. This area can function as a second cabin when cruising with guests.
Galley - The galley is immediately to Starboard when exiting the pilothouse aft. It is a U shaped galley with all the equipment to cook up a good meal. The galley is open to the salon.
