Always a New England boat and stored out of the water 8 months a year. This J/32 has just had a notable interior upgrade, her cabin sole was refinished and extensive other re-polyurethaning was done to the interior woodwork. She also has a recent jib and Genoa.

The J/32 sleeps up to five adults in two cabins. The natural light and ventilation is abundant with 2 large hatches 6 ports and 2 dorades, all opening with screens.
The V Berth forward is unusually spacious for a 32' sailboat primarily due to the fact that there is no tankage under the berth so it sits at a normal bed height, thereby facilitating getting in and out. Underneath is all good storage. To starboard is a two-drawer bureau, with a hanging locker to port. The teak ceiling and integrated shelves adds warmth and beauty to the cabin. The main salon incorporates a hanging teak table off the bulkhead with a long (6' 4") settee to starboard that makes down to a double berth. The drop-leaf table opens to serve the port settee. Additional teak trim, shelves, and storage behind and below augment the nice salon. A teak and holly sole enhances the entire interior.
Next aft is the Nav station with opening chart table, drawer, and cabinet that contains battery storage. The aft head with shower is adjacent and features pressurized hot and cold water, manual toilet plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank, and a hanging locker.
The L-shaped galley is to starboard, and includes a deep single sink with pressurized hot & cold water, a six cubic foot ice box, and a gimballed two-burner Force Ten propane stove/oven. Additional cupboard storage behind and cabinet space under is ample. A quarter berth is last aft and to starboard.

Construction; Hull and Deck
Built using TPI's pattened SCRIMP process with end grain balsa coring and vinyl-ester resin. Green Awl grip hull finish with white boot stripe and gold cove stripe. The Awl grip is original to 1998 and were the owner keeping the boat would have the hull re-finished in his choice of hull colors but does not want to second guess a buyer. We believe the boat is accurately priced to reflect the desirability of this work. The bottom is finished with an ablative black anti-fouling.
The house and decks are likewise SCRIMPED and balsa cored and finished with while gel-coat and Moondust Awl grip with grip-tex in appropriate non-skid areas. Many boaters are aware of the Cook gel coat crazing of this era of boats from this and other builders. This J/32 has far less of this than other boats, a nice plus!
