The interior provides a stbd-side forward berth; enclosed forward head compartment to stbd with shower grate; main salon with L-settee to stbd and centerline double-leaf table, plus port settee with lee-board; aft U-galley with cooking and refrigeration appliances; nav table with seat opposite the galley; large quarter berth to port.
It is finished in a traditional décor with teak paneling and joinery, Formica counters and shower sides, gel coated FRP accommodation pan for the sole and hull ceils, teak and holly plywood sole over the pan, and sectional soft headliners. Yanmar-supplied Kanzaki model KBW 2.0 hydraulic- operated 2.62:1 forward reduction and 1:1 reverse marine gear with shaft coupling, 1” stainless shaft, FRP shaft log with dripless seal at the inboard end and Cutless bearing at the outboard end, turning (right hand) an 18” diameter, 3-blade adjustable pitch Max-prop propeller, with zincs on the shaft and prop.
Wind Vane Steering
Monitor stainless servo-pendulum system bolted through the stern. Steering lines lead thru Harken blocks to the drum on the hub of the Whitlock wheel.
12 volt DC Electrical system
Engine start is a group 31 AGM type secured on a platform under the head of the quarter berth, with a dedicated disconnect switch.
The ship’s service bank is 2 size 4-D AGM types, secured on a platform under the L of the settee.
Mechanical charging is by the original 80 amp engine alternator (for the engine start battery) or the added Balmar 160 amp engine alternator (for the house bank) with double-belt drive to the added centerline bracket.
Shore charging is by the ProMariner 40 amp 4-stage AC shore charger or charger side of the Freedom 1000, all monitored by the Link 2000 control pad.
Offshore charging is by the 100 amp Ampair wind generator on a tripod at the
stern rail, or by the 2 solar panels on the bimini frame, both with dedicated regulators and input selectors.
Distribution is made through the 4-position battery selector switch and separate paralleling switches, main and branch thermal-magnetic breakers as switches, and UL listed conductors to the motor starters, lights, fans, water closet, pumps, electronics, and auxiliary loads.
120V Electrical system
Shore power is brought aboard via a single 50-foot 125 volt/ 30 amp NEMA configuration twist-lock cordset to a matching boat inlet.
Onboard AC power is generated by a Freedom 1000 watt inverter off the house bank. Distribution is made through the source selector switch that allows 120 or 220 volt supply to the enclosed panel with volt and amp meters, back-covers over the thermal magnetic main and branch breakers, and UL listed conductors to the water heater, battery chargers, and receptacles. The inverter is supplied with a relay to energize the receptacle circuits only. GFCI protection for the receptacles per ABYC.

Mast and Standing Rigging
Masthead cutter rig. Stainless pipe bow sprit. Anodized aluminum mast stepped on the cabin top with an enclosed compression post carrying the load to the hull bottom in the keel stub. Standing rigging is stainless steel 1x19 wire with machine-swaged terminals and stainless open- barrel turnbuckles at the deck end, attached to stainless bar stock chainplates bolted to the outside of the hull skin. The rigging schedule includes a bobstay, head stay inside the roller furling, forestay inside the roller furling, back stay with insulators, cap shrouds to the masthead through the single set of aluminum spreaders, and forward and aft lower shrouds to the spreader bases, plus running intermediate back stays to support the forestay.
A domestic Air conditioning system has been installed that operate off the Imverter. Keeps the interior extremely cool with low power usage.
