Manufacturer Provided Description
Easily managed by two, the Sabre 362 is designed for high-performance luxury cruising. The hull design is a blend of Sabre's performance design concepts, proven in transatlantic passages and offshore racing, together with the latest developments in yacht design technology. Her powerful sail plan gives excellent light-air speed.
On deck the Sabre 362 features a new generation of styling harmony which evolved from the detailing of the Sabre 38 and Sabre 425. Her cockpit incorporates advanced ergonomics for comfort on extended passages. Self-tailing genoa winches are located close to the helm for convenience and ease of sailing. Every Sabre incorporates the best hardware: Edson, Hall Spars, Harken, Lewmar and Westerbeke to name a few.
The Sabre 362, like all Sabre hulls and decks, is built to withstand the rigors of the sea. Safety and structural integrity are put first in the construction by alternating layers of hand laminated fiberglass mat and knitted roving. Balsa core is used as a stiffener in areas of high stress. Hull durability is increased by incorporating vinylester resin and ISO NPG gelcoat into the DuraLam protection system.
Belowdecks, the generous beam of the Sabre 362 gives her a very spacious and open plan. Her forward stateroom is especially large with a full-width double berth and a convenient vanity sink unit.
The main salon has a full width table that folds against the bulkhead when not in use. The chart table has ample lockers for recessed navigational instruments. There is exceptional storage in her L-shaped galley in the many drawers and lockers. The molded fiberglass head features a contemporary island sink, a separate shower stall, and a wet locker for foul weather gear. Her finely hand-crafted and varnished joinery gleams in either teak or cherry.
PHRF Handicap (Average): 108

An Inviting Main Salon
Few sailing yachts are built to as high a level of fit and finish as the Sabre 362. Woodworking details, rarely found in even high priced custom yachts, abound in her luxurious interior. Dovetailed drawer boxes, louvered cabinet doors and beautifully sculpted laminated trims, demonstrate Sabre's skills and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
To port is an aft facing chart table at the aft end of a 6'4" long settee. Ample space is provided for today's sophisti- cated navigational electronics. To starboard is an L-Shaped settee with fold up, bulkhead mounted table. When opened, the leaf reaches to the port settee creating a large table for all the crew and guests. With the table folded up on to the bulkhead the salon becomes a large and comfortable space in which to socialize or to relax with a good book.
The owner’s stateroom features a large vee-berth, and a vanity sink with wood framed mirror and seat. To port is a large cedar lined hanging locker. A deck hatch and two opening ports provide light and air to this comfortable space.
The private aft cabin provides a comfortable space beneath the yacht’s cockpit sole. Storage spaces are found here for all of the gear that you and your crew have brought along. A cedar-lined hanging locker is another reminder of the quality of this yacht's fit and finish.
The Sabre 362 offers a spacious head with separate shower stall. This is a one- piece fiberglass unit which is both practical and easy to maintain. A bi-fold door separates the shower from the head compartment (see photos). A cedar-lined hanging locker is another reminder of the quality of this yacht's fit and finish.
Galley
The galley is well designed for an active cruising family. A double stainless steel sink with single lever mixing faucet is situated close to the centerline, so that it remains useable while underway. A deep and well insulated ice box is found outboard of the sinks and a front open- ing door is available as an option. There is ample space for your stores outboard and above the counter. A propane stove and oven with stainless steel safety bar is located at the aft corner of the galley space.
