27 ft Padebco Offshore 27, 1994, Yanmar diesel single screw located in Stamford CT.
“Midnight Ramble” is a 1994 custom Maine Downeast Padebco 27’ cruiser from Bruce Cunningham design. She has under 1800 hours on her Yanmar 315 turbo engine* and she cruises at 15+ knots at 2500 rpms. Can run over 23+ knots.
She’s loaded; AC, heat, Westerbeke 5 KW Genset*, stern thruster, auto pilot and large head with shower plus cockpit shower. She’s awl gripped with “no clear coat” on transom for easy name change. She’s a classic “Downeast Pocket Cruiser”, great for two going anywhere. Spacious cockpit with engine “flush” mounted, providing lots of area. She recently added blue underwater lights for a little fun at night.
*In 2014 she had the engine and generator removed and all preventative maintenance done (hoses, wires, clamps, belts, thermostat, lots of replacement parts, valve timing, etc), engine room painted “brand new”, new stuffing box, new muffler. A 20-year makeover! She looks and runs great! (See photos)
