The Etap 23 is described by her manufacturer as unsinkable. Cheery thought but nice to know that should misfortune strike you will be okay. Etap have always produced quality vessels and this is no exception. Built in 1988 she has spent all her life on the fresh water lakes of Northern England. This non corrosive environment has been kind to the boat and she certainly hasn't been used in anger.
For those wishing to dip "toes" into yacht ownership, you will be hard pushed to choose better. Robust construction, decent sized safe cockpit, electric start reliable Yamaha outboard and an easily handled rig make this a dream to sail.
Decent accommodation for four people below decks with a small galley and a proper sea toilet.
The lifting keel allows shallower areas to be explored and makes both towing and launching very easy indeed.
