If you ever wanted to putz down the ICW this boat would be an excellent choice.
Reasons : Most motorsailers have sailboat cockpits. The Cape Dory has a power boat cockpit. She has bench seats that can be raised or lowered ( see pics ). When lowered there is enough space for four ( yes 4 ) of your favored outside lounge chairs ( There is even enough room for a wheel chair ). At the aft end of the cockpit is a transom door ( like on a fishing boat ). One step down to the swim platform ( which means easy access to your dinghy-- no ladder to climb ).
At the forward end of the cockpit is the captains helm seat and the co-pilots seat-- both sheltered from the weather. The forward windshields open and have windshield wipers.
