‘Unique HYBRID Project ’ of 37 meters built by famous Italian yard Admiral !!!

SEA TRIALS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED !!!

 After being purchased by the renowned project company ‘Zero Emission Institute’, the vessel had a number of major modifications which makes her a very interesting option for those who are looking for a semi-finished project;

* A brand new profile design which extends the aft of the boat and which brings a stunning plumb bow has been succesfully integrated to the hull. A fold-down balcony has been added inside Main Deck Master Cabin.

 * Kamewa waterjet system and a parallel hybrid electrical system which permits both diesel and electrical motor use has been installed using system components below;

   2x150 kW 2300 Nm TM4 Electric Motors

   2x1050hp MAN Diesel Engines are installed as a downsizing operation ( 2x 2.600 hp MTU Engines which were achieving the same performance before the refit, can still be delivered if requested)

   Kamewa Waterjet Drive System

 

Sea trials are completed successfully and the result of all these modifications were;

  Very Smooth Ride!!!

  Nearly Zero Noise!!!

  66% Fuel Economy!!!

 

*All piping, electrical systems and equipments are installed and tested.

*A brand new interior design has been developed for this project boat and the joinery works can be completed in 12 months once approved by the new owner.

 

TECHNICAL DETAILS AND OPTIONS OF PROPULSION SYSTEM

Option 1-Parallel Hybrid Application

In this option , Diesel Engines or Electric Motors can be used, the user will be able to navigate at a speed of about 24 knots with a 2x1050 HP MAN diesel engines or at a speed of 10 knots with a 2x225 HP TM4 electric motors. For electric motor driving, the boat is equipped with a 152 kW Lithum battery bank and a smart GenSet with 3x60 HP variable speed. 66% or more fuel can be saved in the course of the electric motor.

Option 2-Torque Boost Economy Application

In this hybrid application, the diesel engine and the electric engine, whose powers and equipment are given above, are operated together in high speed cruising, and fuel economy of up to 40% can be achieved at a cruise speed of 24 knots.

Cruising range to hybrid systems is limited with speed and battery bank capacity and can be increased according to user request.
