The Ocean 48 Super Sport is  legendary for her quality of construction and the ability to please hard-core offshore fishermen as well as every other member of the family with the roomy and luxurious interior featuring every amenity.  Even when docked next to vessels ten times her cost she is a standout on the dock due to her classic lines and quality construction.

The freeboard is low enough to land the largest catch but high enough to keep children and dogs secure. All the necessary fishing amenities are in place, including outriggers, cockpit controls, a fishbox, fresh water sink, and a livewell plus abundant tackle storage with three separate cockpit cabinets filled with beautifully finished teak tackle drawers.

Her bridge provides a perfect view forward for navigation and to aft when landing the catch.  The layout is unique in allows everyone a seat at the top with three captains chairs and a large forward bridge bench seat.  A full suite of electronics includes radar, autopilot and a Garmin GPSmap 5212.

The massive salon is well cooled by the A/C on the warmest day and features a large flat screen, ice maker, full galley with conventional and microwave oven and a large fridge with matching separate large freezer.  There is ample seating for a large party with a huge wrap around sofa that will provide guest accommodations when required.  Even the carpet is pristine thanks to custom protective runners.

Below decks you will find twin Detroit Diesels each putting out 535 HP as well as a Phasor 9.5 Kw generator with only 140 hours use.  Heat exchangers and oil coolers on the Detroit's were replaced just a year ago. All are served by an oil exchanger system, a full supply of valuable spares and manuals to include spare bronze propellers.
