Passport interiors of this vintage were spectacular solid teak staving throughout with a teak and holly cabin sole. The boat is well ventilated with multiple opening hatches, ports and dorade vents.
The guest cabin is located in the forepeak with a large double V-Berth, single overhead hatch, cabin fan and access to the rode locker. There are two hanging lockers, drawers and cubbies as well as bulk storage beneath the V berth itself.
Just aft of the guest cabin to port is a head with electric flush toilet, vanity and sink. This head can be accessed from the guest cabin or from the main salon. To starboard in it's own enclosure, is the separate shower stall which is currently used for storage.
To starboard in the main salon is the U shaped settee and dining table. To port is a beautiful teak sideboard with abundant, convenient food storage eliminating the need to dig through compartments looking for stored food.
The main cockpit is accessed via a companionway ladder in the main salon. There are brass handrails to make this easy and comfortable in a seaway.
To starboard and somewhat aft of the main companionway is a huge galley offering a comfortable safe place to cook while underway or in port. Corian counter tops make clean up a breeze. The fridge and freeze are separate compartments. The four burner stove will delight any chef and the double sinks create a well thought out work environment. Storage is plentiful throughout the galley will lots of room for pots, pans and supplies.
Port side opposite the galley is the outboard facing nav station with a convenient swing out seat. The boats electronics are primarily here as is the electrical panel, both AC and DC.
Aft of the nav station on the port side is the walkthrough to the Masters Cabin. The walkthrough has full head room and on the outboard side contains a work bench and tool area as well as the gen set. Inboard and centerline is a single pilot berth 6' 6" long. The pilot berth and inboard galley counter top are easily removed for full 360 degree engine access.
The aft "Master" cabin is a spectacular space. It is well removed from the main salon and guest cabin for privacy. To starboard is a large double berth with a custom mattress while to port there are 4 hanging lockers and an additional cupboard. The cabin is served by two opening hatches and it's own companionway to a private aft cockpit complete with it's own shower. It also encompasses an en suite head with electric flushing toilet, vanity, sink, separate shower stall and full length mirror.

Designed by Stan Huntingford, the Passport 51 offers comfortable living accommodation and room for 6 to sleep comfortably in 3 staterooms. Fine Taiwanese teak finishing is found throughout the entire interior, and other premium finishings
The fin keel and skeg hung rudder allows the vessel to perform well both offshore and during coastal cruising. Fine craftsmanship is immediately evident upon entering the teak finished cabin.
Beginning at the bow is a double stainless steel anchor roller followed by the vertical windlass over a below-deck
anchor locker. Aft of the windlass is a heavy-duty deck fitting for the staysail followed by a large opening hatch over
the forward stateroom. A welded stainless steel bow pulpit extends aft of the windlass, mounted on the raised teak
cap rail. The pulpit provides anchoring points for the double lifelines that continue to the stern pulpit with boarding
gates on both sides. Continuing aft, the cabin’s front edge slopes sharply to the cabin top, which contains hatches
over the forward head, shower, and salon. There are teak handholds along both sides of the cabin top, which has
non-skid texture. A solar vent fan is located over the shower compartment. Two Dorades provide ventilation for the
main cabin. A dodger and bimini cover the large center cockpit, which has a binnacle, drop-leaf table,
instrumentation, and helm. The companionway is offset to port. The cockpit sole is teak planking over cored FRP.
Continuing aft is the raised cabin top over the aft stateroom. Several opening hatches provide ventilation for the
stateroom, shower stall, and head. The life raft and a storage box are fixed to the cabin top. There is a small aft
cockpit with companionway access to the aft stateroom, custom pole mount for electronics, and aft lazarette. The
welded steel stern pulpit incorporates a swim ladder at the stern and serves as mounting points for the outboard
mount and other gear. A large stainless steel arch and davit combination also serves as the mounting platform for the
Beginning at the bow is a below-deck anchor locker accessed from the forward stateroom. The stateroom contains a
double berth with V-shaped insert, drawers, lockers and hanging lockers. The forward head is accessible both from
the forward stateroom and the salon. The forward shower compartment is accessible only from the forward
stateroom. Continuing aft to port is a settee and built-in liquor cabinet. To starboard is a U-shape dinette Aft of the
dinette is a deep U-shape galley with double sink, stove/oven, microwave, top-loading refrigerator and top-loading
freezer. Access to the generator and starboard side of the main engine is beneath a removable countertop directly
below the cockpit. To port is the navigation station with electrical panel, instrumentation, radios, and computer
monitor. At either side of the companionway are additional instrumentation and control systems. Continuing aft on
port is a passageway, which converts to a stateroom with two single berths. The main engine is located beneath the
inboard berth, accessible by removing the mattress and panels. The passageway stateroom is open to the galley,
with no bulkhead or separation. Continuing aft on port is the aft stateroom, which contains a long entry hall with
drawers and hanging lockers. The double berth is to starboard and extends aft into the lazarette area along side of
the aft cockpit. An ensuite head and shower compartment are accessible from the aft stateroom. A companionway
leads to the aft cockpit.
