CONSTRUCTION:

Built in 1983. GRP construction with white topsides and superstructure, twin cast iron bilge keels, transom hung rudder with tiller steering, self draining aft cockpit and masthead Bermudan sloop rig, 6 berth internal layout in 2 cabins with around 6ft standing headroom in the main cabin.

SAILS and RIG:

Slab reefing mainsail with blue mainsail cover. Genoa roller reefing system with furling genoa. Storm jib and spinnaker. Alloy mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging.

ENGINE:

Bukh DV20 20hp twin cylinder inboard diesel engine. Engine was removed from boat in 2019, serviced and put back in the boat 2020.

ELECTRICS:

12v battery system with 2 x 12v batteries (may need renewing).

DECK GEAR:

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, blue sprayhood, blue dodgers with name in white, cockpit canopy, stainless steel boarding ladder, tiller, spinnaker pole, sheet winches and halyard winches, lines led aft to cockpit, Avon inflatable dinghy, 15lb CQR anchor with chain, mooring warps and fenders.

NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:

Compass, VHF radio, windvane at masthead, Furuno GPS, radar reflector, navigation lights, steaming light and tri-colour light.

SAFETY GEAR:

Manual bilge pump.

DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:

240v shore power. Galley has gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, icebox, stainless steel sink with water supply from 20 gallon tank. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. Red fabric upholstery (new in 2018).

ACCOMMODATION:

She has 6 berths in 2 cabins including 2 “V” berths in the fore cabin, 2 single settee berths in the saloon, one of which converts to a double with a further quarter berth to port.

REMARKS:

"Lady J" has been ashore for 2 years due to her owners ill health. She was purchased by her present owners over 25 years ago and has been based here at Tollesbury Marina. She needs some improving and updating externally but her interior is very nice and has the benefit of new upholstered berth cushions.
