If you have ever been a crew member in a yacht race, the name "J Boats" will be no stranger. Most probably one of those was in front of you. The J Boats have long been associated with yacht racing and the J-29 has been one of the most revered. This is an excellent example of the first generation of these renown racing machines, and comes equipped with all the "right stuff" to give you many years of racing and sailing pleasure. Most of these boats were bare bones, with no engine, relying on a gas out board to get them out to the race course. This is a rare and sought after, inboard Yanmar diesel model, with less than 500 hours, hooked up to a saildrive. Additionally it comes with several sets of Mylar sails, spinnakers, Auto (tiller) pilot, adjustable jib cars, all lines led to cockpit, 2sp ST winches galore. This is a go fast racing machine, but very forgiving and great for the novice racer.
