Designed by the legendary Bruce Roberts and built by Leslie Skinner Vancouver, Canada in 1982
GAMBOL was initially Canadian Registered and spent the first two thirds of her life sailing in Canadian and US Waters with several seasons in the Sea of Cortez. In 2014 she was purchased by her present
and third owner in Mazatlan, Mexico. Since then he has sailed GAMBOL through the Pacific to New Zealand, Australia and throughout SE Asia – frequently single handed!. GAMBOL is now berthed in Langkawi, Malaysia. She is US Registered.
GAMBOL has been well maintained with regular hull maintenance, being hauled in October 2016 for refurbishing and complete antifouling. Her trustworthy Yanmar 3QM30 was fully serviced in October 2017.
