1982, Barbary 32, stripped and re-built / re-equipped in early 2000's at a cost of near £65,000 "Barbaresco" must be the best Barbary on the market. Built in 1982. GRP construction with white topsides and cream superstructure, long keel, bermudan ketch rig, wheelhouse, wheel steering, 4 berth internal layout.

Ballast 5500 lbs
Mercedes OM636 4 cylinder 42hp inboard diesel engine (re-built 2015/16). Fresh water heat exchanger. 150 Litre fuel tank with a consumption per hour of around 2.5 litres at a cruising speed of 4.5 to 5 knots. Shaft drive to fixed 3 blade propeller. Engine hours since rebuilt under 250.
Bowthruster with control at helm.
Charging via engine alternator, 240v shore power & Rutland 914i wind generator (2016) via HRDi regulator to a total of 6 x 12v batteries (1 engine, 3 domestic, 1 windlass and 1 bowthruster).

Slab reefing mainsail (Southern) with mainsail cover (Dolphin, 2017). Mizzen sail (Southern) with sail cover (Dolphin 2017). Separate heads compartment with Jabsco marine toilet (2016) and shower. Blue velour upholstery. Yellow curtains and blue tile carpets.
4 berths in 2 cabins including 2 single berths in the separate aft cabin. 2 single settee berths in the saloon. Chart table. Forward heads.
"Barbaresco" was stripped out and rebuilt in the early 2000's to an exceptionally high standard and equipped accordingly, invoices are available. She was purchased by her present owners in 2013 and a professional survey was carried out at the time (copy available). Her present owners have added and renewed equipment, sails and most recently the cockpit enclosure & stackpack. Her engine was lifted out and re-built professionally in 2015/6. Her owners have sailed locally and cruised as far down as Cornwall in comfort and safety but are now looking for a bigger boat to accommodate more than 4 persons.
