This beautifully restored Australian Registered Hardin 45 Cutter is in superb condition and fully equipped for live aboard and long range cruising in a delightful old style traditional sailing vessel.
In 2010 the original 50 foot wooden mast was replaced with a 55 foot aluminum spar and new shrouds and stays.
In 2011 the vessel was fitted with a brand new Perkins M93B 85hp diesel engine and new ZF Transmission driving a new 3 blade self feathering MAX Propeller which powers the boat at a comfortable 7.5 knots at 1800prm using only 3.5 liters per hour.
New automatic bilge pumps and manual bilge pumps systems were installed.
Having recently been slipped (January 2012) for her scheduled annual maintenance, (new Anti Fouling and anodes) this vessel will provide the new owner with years of trouble free sailing.
First imported as the BOUNTY 44. Redesigned around 1980 and, afterward known as HARDIN 45. All of these boats were built at Bill Hardins yard at Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This yacht is hull number 115.

Below and full forward is a chain locker followed next aft by the forward cabin. Moving aft past the cabin door to starboard is a single cabin and the heads with sink, shower and vanity opposite. Into the saloon there is plenty of locker space, a fixed dining table and the fridge/freezer with long countertop opposite. This is the dual galley/saloon version which gives heaps of working space for the galley. A unique bar has recently been built next to the fridge. Going aft, in the port side is the main galley towards the aft cabin and it has the large cockpit seat overhead which lifts for excellent extra light and ventilation, a great feature. Aft is the owner's stateroom with an athwartships double bed, plenty of locker space, natural light and ventilation. This cabin has it's en suite in the starboard side which is large and also benefits hugely from the overhead hinged cockpit seat. The yacht affords generous and usable space from stem to stern.
