The Dehler Duetta 86 is a sought after first yacht. They are particularly roomy for a yacht of this size and are a comfortable “go anywhere” fast, responsive and stable cruising yacht with hydraulic wheel steering. This yacht with a slab reefing main with lazyjacks, and self-tacking jib make solo sailing easy. She will sleep up to six with two doubles and two quarter berths. The Dehler Duetta 86 offers 6 berths in one cabin. The saloon table drops to make a very large double berth or two double berths. There are two single quarter berths.
The saloon with approx. 1.8m headroom has a spacious airy feel to it. The Forward bulkhead has a number of lockers and there is stowage beneath the saloon berths, cupboards above. The saloon has a large central table with drop leaves.
The Galley is to Port which consists a 2-burner gas cooker with grill, stainless steel sink with cold water supply, ample stowage and storage, all cooking, dining and drinking melamine glassware with original logo included.
Opposite the Galley is a separate heads compartment with marine toilet and wash basin. The Chart table is to port to suit half Admiralty charts. Both Aft Quarter berths have generous space and further storage.
The large cockpit with its wheel steering has a large stowage locker, gas locker, second lazorette locker and direct access to the engine via a cockpit dry hatch which makes working on the engine very simple and easy. There is a Bimini and full cockpit enclose which provides additional accommodation.

Located aft of the companionway is a Nanni 375 HSE 2hp, 3-cylinder inboard diesel engine that was fitted in 2001. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive via to a fixed 3 blade prop. The engine has been regularly serviced, last service by the owner in February 2017. New stuffing box fitted 2015. 55 Litre plastic fuel tank. Will cruise at 5 knots and has a maximum speed of 8knots

Cast iron Fin keel
Built by Dehler in 1981 in Germany to a design by Van de Stadt. White GRP hull and decks with non-slip covering. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to a skeg hug rudder. Wooden toe rails. Self-draining cockpit with teak covered seats. Deep coaming with integral lockers and ventilated gas bottle stowage with spacious sail locker. This yacht was last out of the water in April 2017 when it was antifouled with three coats of International Micron Extra and anodes etc were changed.
