The center-cockpit Gulfstar 47 Sailmaster, featuring a spacious raised main salon, is known as a comfortable long-range cruiser or liveaboard. Large windows in the salon provide excellent light, and quality teak joinerwork everywhere below combine to create an attractive living space. The galley is well laid out, and two private staterooms, each with an ensuite head with stall shower, provide a good measure of privacy.
79 boats were built between 1978 and 1981. BACCHUS is hull # 46 of the series, her hull laid in 1979, but built for model year 1980. With her ketch rig, Stoway in-mast furling mainsail, and a mizzen with Doyle Stackpack, she can be easily short-handed by a crew of two.
BACCHUS has been owned for 13 years by her current owners. They have thoughtfully upgraded her during their time of ownership. She is on a mooring in Winthrop, MA.
Price reduced on 9/1/2019 from $105,000 to $99,500. Owners would very much like to sell BACCHUS before having to haul and store the boat for the winter.
