This Morris Frances is Hull #8, designed by C.W. Paine, built by the Tom Morris Boatyard in Bass Harbor, Maine. She is an attractive, well-built, and seaworthy double-ender, offering nice accommodations below with 6' headroom, 4 berths, a small galley, and head. Solid fiberglass hull, molded deck assembly, Volvo diesel, nice woodwork below, and exterior teak is finished with Cetol. Sails are in good condition, having been used very occasionally. Rachael has been out of the water, for several years under cover and wants TLC to get her shipshape and sailing.

In cabin, aft of the anchor locker is a large storage locker with shelves. Next aft port and starboard are cushioned berths with covered portable head between. To port is SS lined counter for gimballed 2-burner alcohol stove and small wood stove outboard; cabinets outboard and below; and aft is cushioned port quarter berth. To starboard is SS sink w/cover and top-loading ice box, nice Formica counter top, cabinets outboard and below, followed with the cushioned starboard quarter berth. Engine access is aft of companionway steps. Varnished fir ceiling throughout, painted white bulkheads, customized teak cabinet doors, and varnished teak & holly sole. Two long fixed windows port & starboard, opening port forward, and companionway offer good light and ventilation.
On deck, cockpit seats 4-6 people. Teak port and starboard coaming boards and cabintop handrails removed for storage. Teak campanionway cover and slats. Bulkhead mounted compass to port, traveler mounted on bridge deck in forward cockpit. Exterior rudder with tiller steering. Wide side decks to foredeck with centerline hatch. Bronze deck hardware.
