This beautiful 72' Cruising Ketch was custom built in 1976 for an American coal mining multi-millionaire, who sailed her from Maine USA to Australia, Caribbean and the Bahamas. Built for cruising anywhere in the world in all conditions Anore has 2500 sq.ft of sail and a boomless rig. Electric furling systems on all sails together with electric winches. Purchased by her current owner in 2010 who had her shipped from Florida to the UK . She has recently undergone a 100,000GBP refurbishment. Designed by Mac Lear & Harris and custom built by the Derecktor Yard and Paul Luke. The hull and superstructure is 9/16 inch Hondura Mahogany strip planking, with convex, concave strips penned and glued, the hull is also sheathed. Fully air conditioned throughout the three cabin layout.

Built for cruising anywhere in the world in all conditions Anore has 2500 sq.ft of sail and a boomless rig. Electric furling systems on all sails together with electri winches.
Anore was purchased by her current owner in 2010 who had her shipped from Florida to the UK . She has recently undergone a £100,000 refurbishment.
Designed by Mac Lear & Harris and custom built by the Derecktor Yard and Paul Luke. The hull and superstructure is 9/16 inch Hondura Mahogany strip planking, with convex, concave strips penned and glued, the hull is also sheathed.
Fully air conditioned throughout the three cabin layout. Forward is a guest cabin with over and under berths with lee cloths, lights and fans. On the starboard side of this forward cabin is a lounge seating area, plus ample locker and storage space.
On the starboard side a second guest cabin is located with over and under berths, hanging lockers, lights, fans and vanity unit.
To port is the guest heads.
The main salon has a generous amount of living and dining space. To port an L shaped settee with dining table/fold down sides. Numerous drawers and locker space, book shelves and magazine rack. Electrical breaker panels to aft of dining area. the starboard side features another L shaped settee with cabin heater on forward bulkhead.
Starboard aft of the settee is the nav. station with opening chart table and full range of electronics. The whole main salon has varnished teak accents and teak and holly sole.
Walking aft is the well equipped linear galley with two huge fridge and freezer units. Propane stove, microwave, trash compactor, ice-maker and double sink unit.
Accessed from the galley is the full sized walk in engine and mechanical room.
The master suite is all the way aft and presents a large living space. running the full width of the boat it offers two single and one double berth. The master head is to port with marine toilet, sink unit and separate shower cubicle. Huge areas of hanging space, lockers and drawers.
