This fiberglass catboat is a timeless classic to daysail or cruise. Her wide beam-to-length design provides a steady platform for sailing stability. Strong fiberglass hull with full foam between cabin sole and hull for positive flotation and fiberglass deck assembly, all built by Nowak & Williams in Barrington, Rhode Island, in 1974. Topsides are 1/4" thick to more than 1" at reinforced keel. Hull-to-deck joining is an external flange laminated together with rivets. New centerboard is epoxy-coated steel, drawing 1'10" up and only 4' down, and is secured with a pin and winch. Varnished teak trim throughout.

Rascal's fiberglass hull is accented with varnished teak trim. The large self-draining cockpit seats up to 6 people with storage below seats. In the cabin are 2 generous 6'6" berths with insert that can make them into twin doubles. Five ports with one opening, four fixed for nice light and ventilation. The Galley sink with water pump, and a new Porta-Potty complete the living arrangements.
