Raina is a mast head sloop designed by Bill Shaw and built in the Pearson plant in Rhode Island in 1966. The Wanderer is a full keel, shoal draft sloop with a centerboard, which provides access to shallow bays and "skinny" water.

Raina has been loved and well cared for and shows like a much newer boat! Upgrades include a Yanmar diesel, Model 3GM, 30 hp., f.w.c. in 2004. Decks were repainted in 2004, hull was awlgripped white in 2004. Wheel steering with all exterior teak including coamings are varnished.

Raina is the popular dinette model with a starboard side galley and quarter berth. This is truly a great classic that shows well in and out. Consider her as "turn key".

Double vee berth forward with vee berth filler, 2 opening ports with screens, overhead hatch, reading lights, storage drawers below berths, storage shelves over berths.

Next aft is the only enclosed head with marine toilet to port, holding tank system, vanity with stainless steel sink, hand pump to starboard. Opening port in head area.

Main cabin has a side galley to starboard, including a t op loading ice chest, sink with hand pump, 2 burner Origo alcohol stove, counter space, storage under starboard rail.

The L shaped settee with drop down dinette table is to port. Enclosed storage under the port rail. The quarter berth is aft to port. All interior teak is varnished, teak cabin sole, cabin window curtains.

Good engine access is provided by removing the companionway stairs.

Electronics

Pedestal mounted compass, Furuno CRT radar, depth sounder (condition unknown).

Deck

Deck repainted in 2004, custom teak anchor pad forward. (2) anchor rollers. All exterior teak is varnished, opening deck hatch forward. One opening cockpit locker, lazzarette locker. Wheel steering with bronze ship wheel, pedestal guard. Mast stepped on deck.

(1) 25 lb. CQR type anchor with 150' anchor rode, (1) 25lb. anchor with 30' of anchor rode. Bow and stern rail, single lifelines.

Sails

Heavy duty main, 150% genoa (age unknown), reported to be in very good condition. Hood jib furler in 2014.

Mechanical?Electrical

Yanmar 3 GM, 30 hp, f.w.c. diesel, new in 2004 with 500 hours estimated. (2) 12 volt batteries, 12v electrical panel, electric bilge pump, manual bilge pump.
