Classic KROGER WERFT GENTLEMANS LAUNCH built in Germany, 1963
CONSTRUCTION: Constructed to German Naval standards. The hull was based on post-war high speed patrol launch but the design was adapted & built solely as a gentlemans launch in 1963. Completely refitted by Bure Marine, Yarmouth 2000-2002 to the highest standards, with no expense spared.
Further renovation & improvement in late 2009/early 2010. Double diagonal carvel mahogany construction, heavily overlaid at the time of construction with GRP. Teak laid decks, with marine plywood under deck. Superstructure & wheelhouse are marine plywood sheathed in GRP. Keel & stern laminated iroko (cambala). Frames, beams, stringers, floor timbers & skin planking of mahogony. Bulkheads, knees, longitudinals of phenolic glued. White hull & superstructure.
