Built in a masterly manner by the Fratelli Canale Boatyard in Lavagna,Italy in 1963 following the renowned design of the Dhorus Mhoor class of Jack Laurent Giles, this yacht is still in very good conditions.
Mahogany planking on Oak frames , she has a new teak deck built in 2003con scafo in mogano su ordinate di rovere, ha un nuovo ponte in teak dal 2003 .
Etesea is a very comfortable classic yacht : A wide and sheltered wheelhouse and cockpit with comfortable sits further to the classic stern helmsman position .
Entering inside , there is a comfortable soloon with L shaped settee on a side around a mahogany table . To the stern there is a corridor and the owner's cabin with private bathroom . Beutifull and very elegant .Forward you have two double cabins with 2+2 bunks, nice and cozy. a bathroom and a wide galley. The foc'sole has 2 bunks
Etesea has always been maintained with care . Among the extar ordinary maintenances , in 2012 she was put to barewood and 20 planks including the gardboard have been replaced. The rest was found in very good conditions . New chain plates in stainless steel .

The great Laurent Giles began to design cruising sailing boats with very good performances under sail and under motor since the early 40 ies . His famous 50/50 or motorsailers . In the years 1950-1960ies his motorsailers became very much requested in many places of the world thanks to very good performances and comfort. The most famous have been the Donella class of 43' and Dhorus Mhoor class of 49'performances.Etesea is one of the Dhorus Mhoor class better realized boat . Giles had his boats built by several good boatyard selected in different part of the world . One of the most renewed sisters of Etesea is September Moon which in 1970 was awarded with the Lloyds Trophy for the best and faster cruising yacht . The first boat of the series ,Dhorus Mhoor took part to several blue water races , like the Middle Sea Race of 1973 and ended up in a prominent position among the wet and uncomfortable racing machines .
Etesea has always been used for comfortable and esay cruises in Mediterranean sea by her only two owners and always kept in good order and perfect shape.
