Seller Advantage ServicesTraditional yacht brokerage commission is 10% of the gross yacht sales price – whether or not the buyer has their own broker. Today, many yachts are purchased directly by buyers without use of an additional broker. In this case, the seller is essentially paying twice for the same representation. In addition, brokers typically tie yacht sellers to listing commitments lasting a full year. At YachtX, we see these terms and fees for what they are; unnecessary. The YachtX Seller Advantage programs provide yacht sellers with the convenience and privacy of full service representation while slashing commission fees up to 75%. The YachtX Seller Advantage Plus program is designed for the many sellers who require the sale of their yacht to be fully handled by a professional but find 10% brokerage commissions excessive and are looking for the best possible value. This program provides hands-on professional service at a savings of 60% versus traditional commissions.
