Ryan was born on the resort peninsula of Door County, WI which juts out into Lake Michigan, forming Green Bay. He started young in the marine industry in Wisconsin. Ryan worked as a private captain for a custom sailing yacht and an Aprea Mare in the Great Lakes. He holds a US Coast Guard 100 ton Captain’s License with Tow and Sail endorsements.
Ryan graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, earning degrees in Marketing and Finance. During and after college he worked in the yard as a sales assistant, master rigger and rescue tow boat captain for Yacht Works, Inc. of Sister Bay, WI, dealer in Chris Craft and Ferretti Group boats and affiliate company National Yachts. Ryan later moved to Fort Lauderdale and worked as a broker until establishing Yacht Works of Fort Lauderdale.

Growing up on the resort peninsula of Door County, WI Todd developed a passion for boats at an early age. Throughout the years Todd and his family have owned numerous power boats on the great lakes. Todd attended Fox Valley Technical College were he received a degree in sales and marketing. Todd has been working in the sales industry for years in both Wisconsin and Florida in addition to running a yacht management company for the past 6 years. While running that company Todd refined his skills of both sales and his passion for boating.

Russ Forkert, the president of the “Yacht” companies, was born in Port Washington, New York in an area where some of the world’s greatest yachts reside. After spending summers cruising Long Island Sound, Nantucket, Block Island and Buzzard’s Bay as a child, Russ and his family moved to Door County, Wisconsin in 1969. Anchor Marine became the family business where Russ grew up repairing, building and sailing boats. Russ took over the business in 1993 and today is the president of Yacht Works Inc. (paragraph) Russ’s broad range of experience and knowledge is the driving force behind Yacht Works. He has held a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Operators license for over twenty years and has run all types of boats all over the Caribbean, East Coast and Great Lakes. Russ’ passion for boats and his knowledge of boating get translated to everyone he works with.
