And, oh, the stories they can tell! With more than 5000 members, AGLCA is one of the most respected boating organizations in the U.S.

July 20, 2007--More than 80 women (and even some guys) attended the 1st ever CRUISE FOR THE CURE! YachtSouth broker and LIFE ON THE WATER Magazine publisher, Christy Martin joined forces with Rambo Marine at Ditto Landing, Huntsville, AL. Joining Christy were Cathy Backe of Decatur, USCG Captain ... Pam Knauf, North Alabama Boaters' Association and DeAnne Rodenburg, USCG Auxiliary/Huntsville Flotilla. They hosted a ‘Boating 101 for Women’ to show you the basics of operating a boat during the CRUISE FOR THE CURE … taking the attendees on a wonderful cruise around Hobbs Island Tennessee River MM 334 to 336. All donations benefitted the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

The North Alabama Boaters' Association Poker Run, June 2007
More than 22 boats filled the channel of the Tennessee River from Guntersville Dam to Decatur playing hands of poker all along the way. Here's a cruiser racing in for the food!
