My experience with Bob Sherman and my yacht purchase was the best purchase of my life so far. Bob did everything and more than we expected, he scheduled everything from inspections to maintenance needed. He checked in with me several times a day with progress. Once we picked the boat we wanted, which took one day of looking at boats Bob showed us, we closed in one week and spend every weekend on it. Bob still checks in with us even now to see if all is good, my wife and I said very early on that we could never have done this without Bob. My wife said it best being a fairly new real estate agent, she said she wanted to take care of her clients, be as honest and work as hard as Bob did for us. Bob Sherman is, without a doubt, the consumate yacht broker. We used Bob to sell our previous boat and to purchase our current boat. In particular, he maintained open lines of communication (meaning we didn't have to track him down); he was proactive in providing information we didn't even know we needed; he researched information about a number of boats with an analysis of what would make the best buy; and, he was a keen negotiator on getting a fair price in both the sale and purchase of our boats.
Thanks to Bob we were able to purchase a 50’ Carver located in Chicago. The boat was flawless and we got it at a great price. To get the vessel to San Diego Bob arranged all details and coordinated every aspect of the move. Bob arranged for a host of professional to disassemble, transport and decommission the boat here. Throughout the process he expertly handled every detail. The end result was a beautiful boat in our slip on at a price vastly less than acquiring the same vessel in California. It was truly concierge service from start to finish.
We've dealt with a number of brokers over the years and have found Bob to be the one individual that sets the standard that other brokers would do well to emulate.

We have worked with Bob Sherman as my yacht broker for a number of years and have always been very pleased with his work.
He has assisted us in buying and selling boats and has always demonstrated a very knowledgeable and valuable understanding of boats and the marine industry. As a result he has enabled us to save money by not adding unnecessary options but advising us to consider options that were very important that we might not have considered on our own.
Our most recent purchase was a $1,150M new Offshore which we purchased through the Offshore Dealer. We ask that Bob be a part of the transaction and our consultant to provide us with the best possible advice in selecting the many options we had to choose. This turned out to be a very valuable decision as we went with Bob’s suggestions and all of them have been great!
Bob also, helped us sell an older boat in a “down market” in which he made a number of suggestions to us that allowed us to obtain a very fair price for our boat.

sailboats that I had. Bob was very helpful in that he spent time with
me in determining what I really wanted. We discussed the various
needs I had and this allowed him to look for suitable boats. He
arranged viewing of appropriate candidates and allowed us to home in
on what we really wanted. We did not find a suitable boat at that
time, but he kept looking and in contact with us. When the right boat
