I started in Yacht Sales in 1987. I was a top producer at several of the better San Diego brokerages for 14 years, learning from the best of the best. I obtained my Broker's license and started "YachtSource" in 2001. With over 25 years experience and hundreds of transactions to date, I have earned a good reputation in the industry. A native San Diegan, I grew up in a sailing family, and sailing has been a passion my whole life. I started teaching at the age of 18, and became a USCG licensed Captain in 1982, at the age of 21. I hold a 100-ton Master's Certificate,and regularly use my license for corporate charter regattas. I am qualified to teach on sail or power boats. As a former Realtor with Coldwell Banker, I have enhanced training and skills that are parallel to the Yacht Brokerage industry. I am an avid scuba diver, and owned a 38 foot sailboat for six years. While I now sell more power boats than sail, sailing and sailboat racing remains my passion.

I am a member in good standing with the California Yacht Broker's Association, which has high ethical standards. I utilize the CYBA contracts in my transactions, which offer the best protection for my clients. I regularly attend CYBA legal seminars to keep current on the latest issues and concerns.
