Annie’s Song is in great shape; the first sixteen years of her life were spent on a lift, under a cover. The current owners are meticulous about keeping the boat in top condition; spending thousands on upgrades and maintenance. This boat is built for ocean going, with a hand laid up solid fiberglass hull, huge gel coated stringers and bulkheads, and oversized – single piece – thru bolted stainless steel grab rails on the deck. Performance? This boat will cruise economically with friends riding in comfort all day and night, or top out in the 40’s if you want to get to your destination in a hurry. The helm is a captain’s dream, typical of a Tiara. The high curved windshield protects the cockpit from wind & spray. If the weather turns bad; the full enclosure and eisenglass protect occupants from the elements. Though it’s called a 290, it’s all of 31 feet long with slightly more than an 11 foot beam. The cockpit is perfect for entertaining guests, sunbathing, or fishing; with seating for 7. To port from the helm is an L-shaped settee that seats 3. A padded bench seat runs across the transom, with a middle section that slides out to allow access to the acrylic transom door. Going below decks, it is easy to forget this is a 31 foot boat. There’s tons of headroom and the 11 foot plus beam make it seem like a larger boat. To port is a U-shaped dinette that converts into a full-sized bed. The mid-cabin can be used for storage or is large enough for another full-sized bed. And the V-berth in the bow can sleep 2 and has a privacy curtain. The galley is located starboard; with an AD/DC frig, electric stove, and sink. The 290’s enclosed head is large enough to stand in and doubles as a shower.
