Booking your Charter


Selecting the perfect yacht with the perfect crew to match your desired level of quality, style and comfort is what we do best. We suggest you start early. Many yachts are booked a year in advance! Start with your Destination. Will it be Europe or the Caribbean, or perhaps Alaska? Also what time of year are you planning on traveling and for how long? Then you will need to put together your Budget. When budgeting for this vacation you need to consider the yachts weekly rate, advanced provisioning allowance (*APA) and *gratuities for the crew. How many guests will be joining you? The size your party and the make up of your guests will help us determine the perfect yacht as well. It is in the details that you will experience what Waterfront Yacht Charters can do for you. Expect the highest level of personal attention in every detail of your yacht charter experience. It is our job to help you create a lifetime of memories aboard your yacht vacation.
Once we have chosen the perfect yacht and the perfect destination you will be required to provide a 50% deposit and a signed standard MYBA contract to reserve the yacht of your choice. The balance of your charter fee will be due 30 days before your departure along with APA. Cancellation policy will be detailed in your contract. Insurance is available to protect your funds

*Advance Provisioning Allowance(APA) is based on your cruising plans discussed during the selection process and advanced funds needed for fuel, port fees and communications. This will be very detailed information regarding preferences for food, beverages and dietary or medical requirements for you and all your guests. Each yacht’s captain will monitor your outgoings and reconcile actual expenses against your advance funds for you with an itemized account with receipts at the end of your charter. Any unused APA funds will be immediately refunded and any short-fallings will be immediately due. These details will ensure your perfect charter.

*Gratuities for your crew are usually based on your satisfaction of course. The best guidance for you is generally 10%-15% of the yachts charter fee. However, remember your crew is up way before you awaken and way after you go to bed, so if they have been exceptional do not let this guideline restrict you from offering them more!
