MARK FERRIER has lived and worked on the water all his life. Mark worked as a delivery Captain running boats up and down the east coast until 2002 when he joined Walczak Yacht as a broker. After a few hundred deliveries up and down the east coast Mark is the authority on condition and design. Mark is licensed yacht salesman in Florida. Over the last 6 years Mark has developed a reputation for keeping his listings fresh and active. Mark was the top company producer for the first 6 months of 2008. A native of Annapolis, MD, Chris developed a lifelong passion for the water from racing and cruising on the Chesapeake Bay. He lived the dream instructing sailing on the Maine Coast and later instructing for the offshore sailing program at the United States Naval Academy. During a rewarding career in the Navy, Chris traveled the globe to every continent (except Africa) in a variety of interesting assignments.
Chris hit the deck running in the yacht brokerage business and has quickly established a strong sales record in both power and sail boats. Entering his 6th year with the Walczak team Chris set a record in August 2010 by writing 3 deals in 3 days and delivering all three boats (Prout sail-cat, Hatteras MY and a V58 Viking sport cruiser). Chris is a member of the YBAA, FYBA and licensed in Florida. This Spring Chris sold a 1999 Nordhavn 50- Tivoli, ‘82 Lord Nelson Victory Tug 37- Tugnacious, ‘99 J120- Wild Child ‘07 Riviera 33, and 49 Eastbay 49 SX- Bella. Additionally he recently listed the Classic 2009 Vicem 72- Chance- as well as the immaculate 2006 Nordic Tug 42- Quiet Elegance.
Chris and his wife, Bevin, live in town and have three super kids.
