Vator Oy is an old and respected company founded in 1938 focusing on marine business only. Business within Vator includes 3 business units: retail-, wholesales- and service operations.

Vator retail operations consists of 5 retail shops in three market areas: VATOR - Bella marina, VATOR - Flipper market and VATOR - Jollas in Helsinki, VATOR - Turku and VATOR - Tampere. Vator retail chain represents the most important boat brands in Finland: Aquador, Bella and Flipper family, Bavaria Motor Yachts, Bayliner and Trophy family, Buster, Linder and Silver aluminium boats, Ryds fibreglass boats and Sealine motor yachts. Vator retail business unit also launched a new Vator 27 boat at Helsinki floating boat show in August 2006.

Vator wholesales business unit operates in four market areas: Finland, Sweden, Russia and Baltic States with the following brand products (products represented by market areas may vary): Boats: Linder aluminium boats, MV-Marin and Ryds fibreglass boats. VETUS equipment and diesel engines, JRC-, Northstar- and Navman marine electronics and Volkswagen marine diesel engines.

Vator service serves the end user with winter storage and maintenance services.
