About Us
TJ Durnan has been involved in the maritime field since the age of 17. He’s logged about 40,000 miles offshore under sail, and has also had a 20 year career in Alaska’s Bering Sea, working out of Dutch Harbor at all times of the year. For the last 9 years, he has served as the Captain of a 170’ trawler with a crew of 40.
His knowledge of boats, both sail and power, is extensive!
He is ready to help you find just the right boat for your next adventure!
Jenny Durnan has been living aboard and cruising since 2007.
She’s sailed both the Caribbean and the west coasts of central and North America.
After finishing dual master’s degrees in Germany, she decided to
embrace the boating life full time.
Her organizational skills in the office, coupled with the knowledge gained from extended cruising, makes her uniquely qualified to assist both buyers and sellers through every step of the brokerage process.
Robert Kupps is the newest member of our team. Energetic and passionate about all things boating, Robert Kupps has been a resident of Mexico for over 20 years.
He is a master surveyor, ASA instructor, and established delivery skipper. With over 100,000 sea miles experience, he's a perfect fit for Vallarta Yachts, and has a unique set of skills and qualifications for the Mexico yachting market.
Baxter, the fearless Beagle/Jack Russell, has logged 4000 miles under sail.
His primary duties while on passage include eating, sleeping, and barking at marine mammals. He currently lives aboard here in Puerto Vallarta, and welcomes everyone into our office with a wag and a smile.
Our Location. Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta are located within the beautiful Banderas Bay on the Pacific coast of mainland Mexico. Our office is located out of the aptly-named Paradise Village Marina (www.paradisevillage.com) in Nuevo Vallarta, just 10 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport. As one of the most popular destinations in Mexico, there are several airlines to service our location from anywhere in the world. We are ideally located to serve all of Banderas Bay’s boating needs. When you come to visit us, we’ll be there to pick you up when your flight arrives and assist to help make your visit a happy and comfortable experience.
