Chris Turner
Chris has held a Captain’s License for 32+ years growing up in a boatbuilding and fishing family on the west coast of Florida. Chris has captained sportfishing boats and yachts from Texas to Nantucket including both of Mexico’s coasts, Cuba, Bahamas and down to Antigua. He has captained the private yachts for Anheuser- Busch, High powered attorneys, Real Estate developers, mail order tycoons to name a few. He has consulted on new builds for both the manufacturers and yacht owners alike. Chris has a no nonsense straight forward approach towards business. Truth and honesty has been his way of life.
TIM CONWAY
TDE Marine / Turner-Gould Yacht Brokers Born October 21, 1958 in Northwest Pennsylvania, Tim has been associated with boats all his life. He moved to Florida in 1984 when he purchased Marine ACR Systems in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Specializing in marine air conditioning and refrigeration, Tim ventured out into all aspects of marine and technical diagnostics; electrical, desalination, diesel repairs, etc. In 1999, Florida Power saw an opportunity to purchase Marine ACR Systems and moved Tim and his employees into the Harborage Marina’s High & Dry where Tim oversaw service, parts and outboard engine sales. Eventually, Tim became the general manager of the Harborage Marina, which included a 500 wet slip Marina, a 400 High & Dry, Ship’s Store, Restaurant and Service. When Florida Power sold all its “non-utility” facilities, the Harborage was purchased by Marinas International out of Dallas, Texas. Upon this transition, Tim then became general manager of their south east division, overseeing several Marinas. Tim left the Harborage in 2005 to become the operations manager at Marlow Yachts Limited, where he has been until August of 2011. Tim has since formed his own company with his family, TDE Marine – Total Diagnostic Engineering, specializing in mega-yachts diagnostics. He is currently working with many of his past Marlow Yacht customers in addition to Turner-Gould Yacht brokers.
