In his almost 40 years of business experience his successes include 28 years as President and owner of Dykema Total Office Resources that included 3 retail stores, a commercial supply group and a contract office furniture division. Concurrently, he didnít want to be left behind and moved to the technology field and founded Data Source Inc. a firm that marketed and sold mainframe computers and custom software for vertical markets. After 4 years he sold the businesses and moved into the marine industry. Bob joined Wilkins Boat and Yacht Company in 1993 and he became one of the most successful brokers on the East Coast. This attracted the attention of Palmer Johnson and in 1996 Bob opened up a new Yacht Sales Division in Savannah Georgia and assisted Palmer Johnson in adding a Sales and Brokerage office in Holland Michigan. This division sold new construction Palmer Johnson Mega Yachts, was a Grand Banks/Eastbay Dealership and also power and sail brokerage. With Bob at the helm, this group was a leading revenue generator for Palmer Johnson with Bob personally experiencing brokerage sales of over 12 million annually. When Palmer Johnson left the renowned service and re-fit yard in Thunderbolt Georgia, Bob purchased the assets of the division he started and remained. In his current role as President and owner of Thunderbolt Yacht Sales Inc., Bob brings his passion for yachting coupled with a superb portfolio of relationships within the marine industry. Bobís knowledge of the recreational boater plus the luxury end of the marine market may be what you may need when you are buying and/or selling in current market conditions.

Smith and built by artisan Rod Marple at the famed Lovett Marine Boat Yard in Longport, New Jersey for Mr. Lovett (of Lovett Bilge Pump fame) inspected every piece of wood and all materials used in the construction while Rod spent from 1963 to the summer of 1967 completing this masterpiece. Built out of Mahogany on 7` Oak frames `Oh Wooden Aye` ex `Callisto` represents the finest constructed vessel of its type ever built. The current owners purchased this vessel in the summer of 2000 and have spent the past thirteen years investing the time, talent and the funds necessary to ensure that this incredible Lobster Style Flybridge vessel graces the waterways for another forty seven years.  Although Oh Wooden Aye is truly historic she has all the modern conveniences.
